Marie-Anne Gauriat is a Bioprocess Scientist at the National Research Council Canada, specialising in fermentation and process development for vaccines and therapeutic proteins. With more than 17 years in the pharmaceutical industry, she combines microbiology and engineering expertise to optimise processes from microreactors to large-scale pilot fermentors.

Marie-Anne applies her integrated approach to reactor design and scale-up, advancing innovative bioprocess solutions that support global health research. She is also dedicated to making science engaging through clear and imaginative communication.
